Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of the DTM Generator website and application (“the Service”), operated by Morris Engineering Software (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

DTM Generator is browser-based software for building digital terrain models, calculating earthworks quantities and producing setting-out data from survey information you provide. Access is provided on a subscription basis for the duration of an active subscription.

2. Accounts and subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
A subscription is for a single named user. Sharing login credentials, or distributing, copying, reselling or republishing the application, is not permitted.
We may update prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice by email.

3. Refunds

If the Service isn’t for you, contact us within 14 days of your first purchase for a full refund. Renewal payments are refundable at our reasonable discretion where the Service has not been materially used in the new period.

4. Professional responsibility — please read

DTM Generator is a calculation aid, not a substitute for professional engineering judgement. Outputs — including levels, volumes, tonnages, setting-out coordinates and reports — are derived entirely from the data and parameters you enter, and must be checked and verified by a competent person before being relied on for construction, ordering materials, payment applications or any other purpose. Levels flagged as extrapolated (EXT / *) are projections beyond surveyed data and are indicative only. Working platform thicknesses and other design values must come from an appropriate design, not from this Service.

5. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The application runs locally in your browser; you are responsible for saving job files. Support is provided by email — see the support page.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and documentation, remains our property. Your survey data, job files and generated outputs remain yours.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses arising from reliance on unverified outputs, and our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, including credential sharing or attempts to copy or redistribute the application. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. General

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
